Junior Product Manager (m/f/d)

FLIZpay is a payment method from Germany that lets businesses radically reduce the cost of accepting payments — and gives shoppers cashback and discounts in return. Instead of storing a card, shoppers securely connect their bank account and pay with the FLIZ app at participating merchants. Merchants keep the saving or turn it into offers that drive conversion and loyalty. Built in Germany for Europe: a local alternative to the international payment networks, with customer data staying in the EU. We're seed-stage, based in Berlin, and we work in a regulated payments environment. One small cross-functional team builds and runs all of it: the checkout merchants add via plugin, SDK or API, the FLIZ app, and our business platform. Three stand-alone products are live today, more are launching.

You'll work directly with our Head of Product and turn vision and strategy into shipped product. This is a hands-on execution role at the centre of a small cross-functional team: you sit next to design and engineering, not three layers away, and you own real problems from day one. The pace is the part most people underestimate. Initiatives we would have scoped for eight to ten weeks two years ago now ship in under two. Smaller things go from idea to live the same day. AI sits in the loop from research through prototyping to delivery, and the product role has changed shape along with it. You'll learn how product management actually works in 2026, not how it worked in 2018.

• Turn product concepts into clear specs and tickets and hand them over to engineering
• Work day to day with design, from early exploration to polished flows
• Build your own prototypes with AI tools to test ideas before we commit engineering time
• Run user research, interviews and usability tests, and turn the findings into decisions
• Analyse product and transaction data to understand what's happening and why
• Follow features through delivery, launch and iteration across our merchant checkout, the FLIZ app and our business platform
• Contribute to roadmap and vision

• You're at the start of your product career, or you have some early experience and want start-up life
• You're curious and ask the right questions before jumping to solutions
• You're proactive, hands-on and comfortable with ambiguity
• You think in structure and write clearly: specs, tickets, research summaries
• You're comfortable with data: understanding it, simple analysis, reading dashboards
• You already use AI tools in your daily work and want to go much deeper
• You're interested in payments and fintech (experience is a plus, not a must)
• German at native or C2 level, plus fluent English
• You're based in Berlin or ready to relocate, and you want to work with us on-site
